Aptifer Slab

Aptifer Slab is the slab serif part of the Aptifer families designed by Mårten Thavenius and released in OpenType format by Linotype 2006.

As a wedge slab serif, Aptifer Slab is a little bit more eye-catching than Aptifer Sans although they share the same basic skeletons and stroke contrast as well as the vertical stress.

Aptifer comes in seven weights–thin, light, regular, medium, semibold, bold and black–in roman and italic respectively. A wide range of glyph alternatives are accessible through OpenType features including small caps, ligatures, lower- and uppercase ordinals, case specific glyphs, and eight sets of figures. You will also find two sets of arrows and other handy symbols in the fonts. Aptifer has support for at least 48 Latin languages.
